I have suffered all 3 of them and I have also come to the conclusion that the higher up in the body the pain is, the harder it is to deal with. Toothache hurts like mad and can cause severe headaches/migraines on top of the toothache, and effect the ears.. Pancreatitis pain makes it hard to breathe without pain, get a comfortable position, and generally hard to cope with, and lastly Kidney stone pain is to me the same type of pain as the acute pancreatitis attacks, but is just that little bit more bearable because it is slightly further down on the torso..and is easier to apply pressure to try and ease it..I don't have any logical reasoning as to why I think the lower it is the easier to cope with... pain is pain, and hurts no matter where you have it, just hurts worse for me when it's closer to my brain...perhaps that is the reason why...the brain.
