Guest guest
Thanks Heidi, I will ask right away -- Re: SALLY,CLAUDIA Hi Sherrie glad your weekend went well. I thought I tell you how we do it here with the information about our health. First of all you should get a Medic Alert bracelet. will tell you all about it. LOL The other thing what is helping us is, I made a list of all Don's Information. His disease , Drs. names and Phone #, All his meds , dose and how often, his S. S. # , who to call in a emergency, what Ins and Medicare #. Plus allergies. He also has a Medic Alert Necklace that states :RP use Pediatric Endotracheal Tube !! Call Immediately !!! Ja when you have RP the should only use Kids tubes on you so it will protect your throat. On the other side of the list it has all my Information on it.LOL yup, that side is full. We both have one list in our billfold always. Even true I do not have RP I still fell Don needs my Information just as much as I do his.Hope that will help you some. But please try to get a Medic Alert Bracelet or necklace. It could save your life !!!!! Hang in there see how we all learn from each other. Heidi Had a great anniversary???? Sat nite late I started to breath bad I said to husband if I have to go to ER you know what to call my disease right???? WRONG.So I did write it down for him for the next time. Guest guest
Chrissy, I was told by my family doctor that calcium tends to circulate around the digestive tract and that could cause the pancreas and surrounding areas to have to work. So doctors tend to put their patients on calcium channel blockers to stop that circulation of calcium..hence the domino effect I guess. catherin
Guest guest
thank you for your openness i just don't know where to begin but one thing that has helped is reading all of the stories and comments for the first time i here things that i say or think or feel and it is nice to know that i am not the only person with this and others know what i go through. i dont think anyone without this disease could even imagine what it is like to be scared to eat or have the pain. everyone harrases me because i am thin and say oh why don't you just eat more they don't understand that it is not that easy. for the first time in seven years i here things from others that are the same thoughts, feelings, and stories it is nice to know that i am not crazy

You're just like the rest of us. We've all been scared to eat, afraid of the pain it brings, and many of us, (myself included), been nagged and fussed at because we were so thin. I'm 5'8 " , and when I got down to 98 pounds I was afraid I would never look healthy again. It took me two years, but now I am looking okay......(for an old lady like myself, lol!). Keep reading.
