If an insuarance company denies one and not another, couldn't that be

discrimination??? If you find out that's the case, I'd write them(the

insurance co.) a letter and say that you know for a fact that they approved

Jane D. for the surgery in August 2000. Let them know that you're aware

they've approved someone. I wish my insurance had approved someone. Oh,

no.... I'm not that lucky... they've denied EVERYONE. It's a written

exclusion. So, I'm sure to be self-pay. It'll be worth it!

WOW YOU R REALLY NICE. THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION. I DONT THINK I WILL

HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE INSURANCE. I AM WITH BC/BS AND I MEET ALL THEIR

CRITERIAS. BUT YOU NEVER KNOW I THINK THEY LIKE GIVE YOU THE DENIED STATUS,

BEFORE THEY EVEN CONSIDER YOU. MOST OF THEM THINK THAT YOU COULD LOSE THE

WEIGHT YOURSELF, JUST STAY AWAY FROM THE TABLE THEY SAY.....HMMMM IF IT WAS

ONLY THAT EASY. I WILL B JOINING THE E-GROUPS TO SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.

Hi,

When I read your entry, I thought, OH MY GOD...That's how someone else

feels..

I have been told that... Just push away from the table! I was so

psssddd.

But that is how we<overweight> are made to feel..

I personally have dieted for years. like everyone else.

But three years ago we found out why I can not lose weight. I have a

thyroid problem.. Hypothyroid... My metabolism is null and void, I

think..

Rambling.. Anyway,

I know exactly how you feel,
