If the letter of medical necessity is required, you would do well to send

them together so they can't say that anything wasn't recieved. If it is not

required, think lawyers and government, don't give them any more than what

they ask for. It confuses them and/or they can use it against you.

Hi,

Just wanted to ask if any one having the surgery, has Anthem Blue Cross

Insurance, and were they willing to pay or they difficult to deal with?

I have anthem BCBS and so far have had no problems. My approval letter was

received in less than a week. I haven't received my pre-certification # yet,

but am not anticipating any other problems. Those #'s are often obtained the

am of surgery if the surgery is approved, already. Good luck Jillian Bopeep
