Guest guest
Thanks again, for your post, . I love hearing from you, and especially hearing all the good things going on with you. I'm so anxious to be in your shoes... will be soon though.. Love ya, stay in touch, Trudy 4 days post op and feelin' GREAT! Hi There List, Well, I must say, this surgery was wayyyyyy to easy. Yesterday I attended the Durham support group (about 40 or 50 people were there). About 10 of us along with Dr. Rutledge went out for Chinese afterwards. We had a great time! I ate applesauce and today I had yogurt and later on cream soup. I tolerate everything well. No dumping, no nausea, no pain... I must say, it will be hard not to tempt fate feeling this well, but I am committed to obedience. I am going to weigh in Tuesday and see if there's any loss so far. Even without the surgery I should loose on this " diet " of clear liquids and soft foods. Again, in the first few days, my diet has consisted of: Watermelon, jello, juice, water (of course), applesauce, cream based soup and broth. Nothing has caused me a problem and I am going to try mashed potatoes next week. (I am an official Dr. Rutledge groupie, and so is my mother!) He really has been great. __________________________________________________
