Guest guest
No actually the only animal in my bed is a cat. The dogs sleep with my hubby in the other room. We decided on that arrangement several years ago for many reasons. My hubby is usually asleep by 9, I am up alot later and lots of nights can't sleep. He has bad sinus problems and prefers to sleep in a recliner to help with that problem. Also the older dog and the cat don't get along. We have been married 37 years and the children are long gone so we can have fun lots of placed in the house not only in the bedroom so we are both ok with this arrangement. But you all our correct in stating that it is a matter of getting the dog trained. And I think an 80lb dog would be a bit large. Our dogs have always been small (Cockers, min schnauzer(she slept with our son till he joined the marines) and know we have 2 chihuahuas) But as some one stated animals are very calming to have around ! Prozac in fur ! Hope everyone keeps enjoying the little 4 legged ones. Love Cyndi

He is just impossible to sleep with. Carol, There's nothing quite like the smell and feel of young puppy fur......almost as good as little baby smell! I know what you mean about them growing up to the point that they're no longer welcome on the bed.....Our puppy is now 98 pounds and, even worse, she snores like a drunken sailor!
