Guest guest
Hi Everyone: My name is Debbie(from California) and I don't post very often but I do read all the messages. I have been looking into WLS for a few months and I appreciate hearing from all the post ops. This is a serious decision we are all making and the more we know the easier it will be to make our choice. It seems the majority have had positive results but those few that have responded with they're complaints seem to shake us up a bit. I know it causes me to question if I am doing the right thing. I feel that Dr. R does an excellent job in educating his patients. But the experience of others who have had this surgery is very persuasive. I believe I'm making the right decision to have MGB. One thing I question is the long term (10 to 50 years) effects. I know Dr. R procedure is only 3 years old,so his data only covers that period. Does anyone have any comments on that? Thank You to all who share your thoughts, knowledge and experience. Debbie in California
