Guest guest
Hi, My Name is Leo McDuffy from Virginia. I have suffered from Pancreatitis for more then 25 years now, caused by pancreatic divisium. I have one son and he's the computer whiz in the family and suggested I looks for a group. I feeling a wee bit better today, good old Mr. Panc seems to be asleep. I just wanted to introduce myself. Later I'll post more on myself and maybe help answer some questions too. Guest guest
Leo, just wanted to welcome you to the group. I also have CP due to pancreatic divisum. I've been dealing with pancreatitis official for 18 years, but they think I had two attacks when I was 3 and 4, but were diagnosed as unknown abdominal pain. I'm 34 now so that was about 30 years ago. I look forward to hearing more from you. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Welcome, Leo! You should have already received a welcoming letter from me offline, but sometimes my personal mail runs slower than the message board, so I just wanted to make sure again, that you felt welcomed to our group. Your son is not only a computer whiz, he also sounds like a pretty cool kid, to suggest that you find some friends on the web that have shared experiences similar to yours that you can talk to. Many of our member have pancreas divisim, with chronic pancreatitis as a result. Although I'm not one of those with divisim, I do have CP and can relate to your troubles with that. Do feel free to tell us a little more about yourself and your history when you feel up to it, Leo. We've got a great group of interested friends here and many are eager to help you in any way they can. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Rep.
