Guest guest
Thank you for responding, it does give me a clearer picture of what I think is going on. I don't feel high, I actually just think I feel close to what normal people feel except for sometimes the breakthru pain, but the med has definitely given me alot of relief. But it's my friends, like when I'm on the phone or just talking that ask me these things like am I high, or that I'm very excited & talking like I'm on speed? I don't even realize it, but then other times when I am alone or possible when it is not at it's peak I just start sobbing & sometimes actually in the same phone call or time that I was told I'm high? so I do think it is the drug......it does afterall work on the central nervous system, and now & then it makes me sleepy, and I always feel tired & whoever said their eyes look bad.....mine always feel strained! I'll be asking for something for the depression, cause I like the pain relief but sure don't want to be known as the speed freak who with intermittant crying jags! I have many many reactions to drugs, even intravenous demoral, when it wears off I also felt like I was on speed with racing heart for 8 hours after the endoscopies, plus the SSI's I think they are called, like Neurotin, ametriptiline, etc. I also can not take. Thank God for the Klonopin or clonazapam, that does calm me down & lets me sleep pretty good. I left it out for one week a few years ago & got about 3-4 hours the whole week! The malabsorption & hypoprotenemia & the amino acids that we are lacking in do control the neurotransmitters like: serotonin, dopamine, melatonin, epinephrine & norepinephrine, so I believe it has to do with the malabsorption part of the disease. Anyway, off to a new day & try not to talk too fast or much! Geez....now I have to worry about my personality too! Thanks again, in CHS
