Guest guest
Fliss or anyone what do you eat with a flare? I have one right now and new to all this. THe doctors do not want me to lose anymore weight. THey tell me to keep eating. It seems the more I eat the worse my enzymes go up. I am on TPN at night time. THey finally told me yesterday to take in clear liquids for just a couple days. Please let me know if you have the bloating and distention too? What do you do to help it? I am on enzymes and they just constipated me. I have colonic dysmotility too. Also I get terrible gas, where does that come from the malabsorption? THe fatigue is awful too does that come along with it? I also have cystic fibrosis another great disease to have, I got a double whammy. Thank you let me know. Guest guest
Fliss- Here is to lemonade for the New Year! :-) I was diagnosed with CP about 8 months ago...had problems with it for over 4.5 years. I had my gallbladder removed and retained a stone...that was the beginning of what has become a very long and painful road. EUS was the way they finally and officially gave me the diagnosis of mild chronic pancreatitis...although they had suspected for a couple of years. BTW...your " senior moments " can't be as bad as my blonde moments! lol. Hugs, Suzi B. Guest guest
Fliss, I'll have your Jim in my prayers on Tuesday, and you will be, too, for loving him and caring as you do. I do hope that the news you hear will be favorable. Please update us when you have the time. As far as the Mustard Seed goes, I wish you could be here, too! We'll raise a glass to you, (tea, of course)! With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Rep.
