Guest guest Posted February 26, 2007 Report Share Posted February 26, 2007 I've decided that I don't care for the taste of saflower oil. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a substitute? I used sesame oil to make our chicken salad today because I didn't have anything else around besides olive oil(didn't want to use that for chicken salad). It was good, but only for certain flavors. I made the chicken salad kind of an oriental type one with it. Obviously, you don't always want your mayo or other oil foods to have that sesame flavor. Any suggestions?
