Guest guest
Looking at the cost per ounce I have already figured that they wouldn't be very cost effective in candle. With my candles, I also do the tarts and have several style of warmers available and had intended to check into diffusers for the EO's. I have also checked into a supplier for aromatherapy necklaces. Has Milan ever experienced any sensitivities (sp) to these oils? I have heard that they are much more powerful than your traditional FO's. > Hi , > > Essential oils (EO's) have been used for medical uses for thousands of years dating back to ancient Egypt. Yes, you are right and others here have more experience with EO's as inhalers than I have. I don't use the hot water method, I have three other non-electric diffusers that I use. They are made of ceramic materials, two of which I get from my local distiller of EO's and I sell on the website. > > There are cautions that also need to be observed as well. Also, if you plan on using them in candles, that can become very expensive. You need to put a couple hundred drops in the wax to get a decent scent for an average size candle. Since EO's are much more expensive, you would blow through it pretty quickly. This is from experience working with a gal who makes bath products and I was making her candles to complete her sets. > > Hope this helps. > > Tucker > Mom of Milan 5 wcf > > Great Strides is coming, get your awareness pins today at www.milanfoundation.org or www.cfawareness.com. > >
