Guest guest
Hi. My sons are five and we do the vest twice per day (morning and night). If they are sick, we try to do it more. We set the pressure to 6 and do ten minutes each at the settings of 10, 13, and 15. I am curious to see what everyone else does as well. Guest guest
Good morning, Peggy! When we moved to VA, the new CF Clinic said to now do only two 10 minute vest treatments ... once in the morning, and once in the evening. Have a great day! Guest guest
I was just wondering because I have heard the vest being used as much as every two hours when sick and settings of 10-15-10 and pressure of 4 on young children. We haven't had to do it that often yet. > Good morning, Peggy! > > When we moved to VA, the new CF Clinic said to now do only two 10 minute vest treatments ... once in the morning, and once in the evening. > > Have a great day! > > Jen and critters > > > > From: jojay9@c... > > Date: 2004/02/26 Thu AM 08:11:43 EST > > To: cfparents > > Subject: RE: Vest settings > > > > Hi. > > > > My sons are five and we do the vest twice per day (morning and night). Guest guest
I didn't think a child that small could use the vest? I was told they had to have a chest circumference of 30 inches. My almost 3 year old son is on for 20 minutes at 15 hz, 5 pressure. > What are your young (6-18 months) children's vest settings and how > long/often is it done? Guest guest
a(10 1/2 yo) does it twice a day, sick or well, for 2*10min intervals pressure is 6 and the other one is 14hz. We have the small vest. I do not know if this helps, but we do it rain or shine. One night she said mom I feel something in my chest, she was sick, so we put it on her and sure enough a big mucus plug came out. > > Good morning, Peggy! > > > > When we moved to VA, the new CF Clinic said to now do only two 10 > minute vest treatments ... once in the morning, and once in the > evening. > > > > Have a great day! > > > > Jen and critters > > > > > > From: jojay9@c... > > > Date: 2004/02/26 Thu AM 08:11:43 EST > > > To: cfparents > > > Subject: RE: Vest settings > > > > > > Hi. > > > > > > My sons are five and we do the vest twice per day (morning and > night).
