Guest guest
Hi Gang, I just wanted to share something with you. Cream of wheat, grits (this one was new for me), & oatmeal on the runny side are great a couple of weeks after surgery. They feel really good on your tummy and it only takes a little bit to fill you up. I think I just told Donna they " feel " you up..lol It's funny you will eat foods the FEEL GOOD for a while until you can eat everything. I wish chocolate and bread were 2 things I still couldn't eat. It took me 4 months before I could eat bread now I can eat a small roll or a half of sandwich. Remember to stay away form lunch meats with nitrates! They are very bad for us even more so after this surgery! Have a great day.
