Guest guest
That particular bacterial strain was not one that Elaine recommended.... but who knows? Maybe it just wasn't around or available. I'm sure that if she were here right now, she'd say..... if this strain will help against that particlar clostridia, then use it. Especially since you found one without the inulin. I imagine she would have objected much more to the inulin. I know she didn't like the bifidus strains at all..... but she may have felt much different about l.GG. I just don't know .... not sure if she ever commented on it. I would go ahead and use it. We can't declare it " officially legal " .... but, I personally think you should go for it if clostridia is a concern. I'm really happy that you can easily get the non-inulin version now. Patti Curturelle- without inulin Just wanted to let all who have been wondering. I just found Culturelle Lactobacillius GG without inulin at my local Walgreens. One of the DAN docs I saw told me that Dr. Shaw (from Great Plains Labs) has been studying clostridia and in his quest to find the best thing to use to get rid of it, the only thing he found was this Culturelle GG. I am happy to say that I found some without the inulin.... So I am assuming that it would be a legal supplement on the SCD. If I am wrong will someone please correct me. thanks Becky 3yold son ASD SCD 4 months
Guest guest
I went on the Culturelle site and couldn't find it. Just wondering what state you are in, I'll try my local Walgreens because I loved Culturelle and had been taking the regular one. --Cheryl > > Just wanted to let all who have been wondering. Guest guest
I live in Conway, Arkansas. Even if your store didn't carry it, they probably could order some for you since other stores around the country have some. cherylconrad wrote: I went on the Culturelle site and couldn't find it.
