It sounds like it to me too. I read on one site that they treat this with the same meds that they treat RP with. Pred. Cytonix and Imuran. Does make you wonder. Hope you find out something from your pulmonologist!

Interstitial Lung Disease: (ILD) There are over 130 different ILD's. All mean the lungs have been affected by a disease process, starting with inflammation and leading to stiffness and loss of the lung tissue's ability to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Ruthann, with this definition, it sure sounds to me the this could be RP related. I will ask my pulmonologist and see. Like I said,last year my lungs showed a small amt of fibrosis. Are you on any pred at this time? How much. You know you are in my thoughts and prayers. hugs
