Sorry don't remember which disc's were envolved, it was in the early 1980's. Both the orthopedic sugeon and neurosurgeon counldn't figure out where my cartlage went. They did a spinal fusion from the bone in my hip. Had major sciatia before the surgery. Now I'm fine in that part of my body.
