Guest guest
Hi, My name is Kirsty. I live in Higham, Kent, Uk. I live with my partner Phil and we have 2 children. We have 2 boys. Sam is nearly 5 and Ollie is nearly 3. Sam the eldest is autistic. When he was diagnosed at the age of just over 2, we put him straight away on the GF/CF diet. After this we noticed alot of changes, but then he seemed to just stay the same. No more improvements and i really felt there must be something else. A year ago a friend of mine introduced me to the SCD diet. I went with sam to see the nutrionist Natasha and since then sam has done really well on the diet. He has made so many changes. The only problem i have is he is not great at all at trying new things. The only thing i have not tried yet is any goats milk products, also making my own yoghurt. Could someone email me (from the UK) whereaboust we can buy the stuff here and whether i make it myself or whether i need to buy a yoghurt maker from ebay, (if so which one) Also sam used to be on kirkmans supernu thera and i have stopped this as he seems to be reacted to it. Anyone know of a good multi vit which is tried and tested and good for the diet? It does not matter if it is american as i am coming to the states in a few weeks. thank you so much. Look forwrad to learning alot and sharing! My email address is duckkirsty@... Thanks Kirsty x
Guest guest
Hi Kirsty, Welcome to our list! I recommend the Freeda SCD Multi Vitamin. This product meets the specifications of the Specific Carbohydreate Diet and supplies you with your basic vitamin and mineral needs. It is available from these websites: Lucy http://www.lucyskitchenshop.com/freedavitamins.html Digestive Wellness http://www.digestivewellness.com/subcategoryitems-digestive_wellness-vitamins-24\ -15.html SCDiet.com http://scdiet.com/store/page6.html For Canadians: http://www.scdcanada.com/ BTW, I am so glad that you will try the SCD yogurt. You may make yogurt in a dehydrator using glass canning jars. Mimi > Anyone know of a good multi vit > which is tried and tested and good for the diet?
