Guest guest
, I had 3 nose surgeries, and 3 c-sections both over 15 yrs ago, I didn't have to have any medical reports on these.. I just had to tell the doc I had them. I think (my opinion only) that he just needs the more recent stuff unless it was open heart surgery.. Some one else help me with this?? Peej where are you when I really need your medical expertise? Trudy/Indiana post-op Medical Records Hi Everyone, I'm putting together my packet and I've got a question about medical records. I had gyn surgery over 21 years ago and my gall bladder out 12 years ago. Do I need to get the surgeon's records or is it enough that my PCP notes it in the history? These records are going to be incredibly difficult to get. Guest guest
medical records are very important if there were any abdominal involvement(scars make the lap difficult) or if there were any complications. old records are hard to dig up in this world of HMO hospital closures so when in doubt ask barbara, e-mail the details and she will get back to you.
