Guest guest
Our daughter, who has been on the SCD since Nov, 2002, although she still eats very basic foods--(mostly stage 1 & 2 as she began antibiotic treatment for Clostridium Difficile last July and is still on it), will be traveling to Canada with her college choir during May. (Sorry for that convoluted sentence!) When they went on tour in the states last year we were able to get food to a drop-off point about 1/2 way through the two-week tour to get her through. We freeze everything in individual portions and she puts the cooler on the bus--things just don't stay cold enough for longer than a week it seems. My questions for our Canadian friends are--do you think it's possible to ship food without an outrageous custom fee or something? Do you have any recommendations for shopping stores? Would anyone be willing to be hired to cook some food for her? Their stops will be in London, ON/ St. s, ON/ Toronto, ON/ Ottawa, ON/ Quebec City/ Montreal. Thanks for any advice you can share.
