Hi !

I actually went to my training and gave myself my first injection

yesterday! I was pretty nervous, but it was a piece of cake and I

didn't even really feel the shot. I gave it to myself in my stomach,

I figured I might as well use this prednisone fat for something! I

did have a pretty terrible headache last night and this morning, so I

am hoping that it's not a side effect, or if it is, that it will go

away after a few treatments.

I am very hopeful about adding the Enbrel to my metho and pred. Dr

Buckner wants to add it, doing the " cocktail " approach, and then

lower my prednisone first, then down the road, try to lower the

metho.

Well, let me know when you are starting your treatment! It really

was pretty easy and not painful at all.

Doesn't the shoulder hurt a lot with RP? I'm sorry you're having a

hard time with this flare. Take care and try not to lift heavy

things, or reach over your head (if you can even do that). The water

stretches seem to really help my shoulder when it is in pain, so you

might think about how you could do that if you want.
