Guest guest
Liz, I am not taking any meds for my cholesteral. I just couldn't toloerate them. I think they have tried me on all the statins there are. None of my arteries are clogged or blocked so they just think it is hereditary. I am on a low fat diet and still can't get it down. My hands throb too. they are swollen and red but not on the joints. After they cramp, they hurt REALLY bad for a long time. When it seems to finally go away, they start cramping again. Just a vicious circle I guess. LOL Just wondering, have you found anything that helps? hugs My hands still hurt though, throbbing and sharp pains, and my knuckles get VERY red and inflamed looking. Guest guest
Hi , I get the same thing, have had it since I was 14! Sometimes I have to pry my hands open, it's so bad. I find that an epson bath works well. Just fill up the sink with some hot water, not too hot though add some epson salts and soak for as long as you can. This is an old fisherman's trick for when their hands would get sore from pulling in the lines. It works for me. Hope it works for you. Take care, Elaine M
