Guest guest
Dear Members, I have not been diagnosed with polychondritis but have many of the symptoms. I have been to a couple of docs but none have mentioned this disease as a possibility. However, the more reading I do about it I can't help but think it could be true. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who could tell me about their path to diagnosis. I have a new doc to visit in February but don't know if I should suggest looking into this possibility or whether that would just turn him off to my situation. My ear has been inflamed for about 8 months and it is not flaming red or deformed it is quite tender. Along with other symptoms I feel it is warranted. But how do you suggest to doctors (who always know everything, right?) that you might have something going on they have not considered. I would appreciate any and all information about your paths to diagnosis. Thank you very much.
