Guest guest
, First I want to apologize to the digest group for not using just a snippet of your post here. I thought it was important not to cut this down. Now I want to thank you for reminding all of us that we do need to remember the subject line and also for such a heart felt apology to Sharon. I can tell you really meant it and I hope everything will be OK. I'm glad that you reminded us all that we do need to use the subject line and we do need to remember that not everyone has the same beliefs as others do. Like Heidi said, we will always have the support here in the form of prayer, laughter and just general caring for each other, this is the way Angie set this group up and myself and the moderators will always make sure her wishes are carried out. I know it took a lot of guts to write your letter and I thank you for doing so and again thank you for reminding all of us of the importance of changing the subject line. None of us here are closed minded and we do all need to try and respect each others feelings. Hell we have over 200 members so we should all be very proud of how well this group functions considering the number of people we are dealing with. I do want to remind every once again of our moderators and what their jobs are. If anyone in the group has a problem with another member or a post, please write one of the moderators and we will try and work it out. That is what we are here for and we go out of our way to try and keep harmony in the group. The moderators are: , Heidi, Glenda, Lu, Roy and myself. Please feel free to write any or all of us if you have a problem. We are here to help. Again , thank you for helping us all remember what the subject line is for and for your letter. I know it was hard for you to write. We are all one big family here and we love you all so much. w >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hello,I feel like I started something that has taken on a shape I never intended. I am the person who privately emailed Sharon. I have emailed her since and apologized that it made her feel singled out. That was not my intention. My original email to her was just asking her to remember to use the subject line to alert others if there was religious content. After I emailed her, I saw that a number of messages that included religious content as their focus, not just a prayer request, did not state that in the subject line. I am not offended by this material, but no that other people may be. I remembered that I had been asked when I joined to include a descriptive subject line when I was posting something that wasn't rp related, so that people could delete it, if they chose. So I asked if she could post a general, friendly reminder to everyone to remind them of this guideline. The intention was not to discourage anyone from posting anything that they wanted to. I hope that those of you who have gotten to know me on this site can vouch for that. I am not one to shut people down, I just wanted people to remember to be sensitive to the fact that others may appreciate the alert.I never wanted this suggestion to stop people from posting what is comforting for them, or that they feel may provide comfort to others. I look to this site for that. It was intended to just be a friendly reminder to be sensitive to differences that may be there.I am sorry if my actions caused pain for anyone. You are all very important to me.Thank you for reading this.
