Guest guest
Hi All, I just thought I'd mention that I have a bracelet, despite the fact I'm allergic to metals (such as earrings, etc....I think it is the nickel in the medal). Anyway, I ordered one about 3 years ago from Medic Alert Foundation....it is an expandable one, is gold and I've even had comments on it being an attractive bracelet.....which surprised me....before they found out what it is for !! So for anyone who can't wear too much jewelry....there is an option. Thanks for the comments about the lab tests for RP. I'll keep reading and learning. I don't have a rhematologist, but the ENT is planning on sending me to one he said after he sees me during a significant flare time and can more accurately call it RP for sure. So far he's going by what I've told him the problems have been, my cat scan, numerous ear tests and documentation from other doctors visits when the ears were inflamed and they tried antibiotics to no avail. Both times the ENT saw me, the ears were in pretty good shape. Seeing another big flare might take awhile, but for now I'm assuming he is probably right and I'll keep learning. Thanks !!
