Hi, Rukaya,

Welcome to the other side! I was so glad to hear that your surgery went well.

Keep us posted on how it all goes.

Hello All,

I had my MGB 9/29 .I work at a very stressful job teaching ! It is

extremely difficult for me because I lack energy and the stress of my job is

overwhelming.I do not recommend to anyone working in high stress positions to

go back to work until they feel strong enough.I pray each day that I can make

it another day.

I send my prayers and best wishes out to all of you! A BIG HELLO

to Betty Harrell and Gwyn my litermates.

Much Love to all!

Hi Joni,

I just wanted to let you know that I went back to work in a week. I am a

hairdresser and have had no problems. The only adjustment was reminding

myself to eat. Other than that I feel great.

The labs are for the anesthesiologist. You will give the results to him in

person at the hospital. Good luck and God Bless!

Now when I don't eat I get a horrible headache and feel weak. Does that

happen after surgery from not eating enough?

Hi Pat,

So good to hear from you. I too am having a problem with no energy. I

have lost 25 lbs. of which all of it has come from my arms, legs and face.

Not ONE inch in my waist! Hopefully that is because of the second surgery

for the leak that I had.

How are you doing with your new diet? Is your cute husband eating the

same as you? He said he was going to. sure wish I had felt like talking to

you guys before you went home on Saturday. But I was sort of out of it that

day and the next.

Good luck to you.

Betty in Western NC
