PLEASE, sitting in a hotel??I don't think so you will there with all your

littermates taking walks going out to eat going to clinic and sleeping.

I originally wanted to come in Tuesday morning go to clinic have surgery on

Wednesday go home on Thursday. I ended up staying 9 days I was having way to

much fun However my surgery was on Thursday and I went home on Tuesday (yes I

got there a little early to see all my buddies go thru it first lol). Plan

stuff with littermates go to the movies, walk the mall (you can get won ton

or hot and sour soup there also smoothies mmmmmmmmmm) Visit other MGBers in

the hospital. There are local MGBers that love to get together. Time will

fly by fast and it is good to spend it with others that can relate you.

Just my 2 cents

Trish

Yes, I agree that sitting in a hotel in NC for a week isn't the most fun

I am from Vancouver, Washington and am in NC right now in fact... twiddling

those thumbs you spoke of. :) Dr R. requires us to stay a week to be sure

that there is little to no chance of developing those dire postop

complications that would confound the ER back home. I am glad he cares so

much to want us to arrive safely home. I realise that our culture of

instant gratification is always in a rush... we want to lose NOW, we want to

go home NOW, we want to have everything immediately, but sometimes it is in

our own best interest to slow down and wait now and then. :)

All my best!
