I don't know of specific brands since dairy brands vary so much depending on

where you live. But, you must make sure that it does not have that in it.

Can you do this with raw cows milk that has had the cream removed and use that

cream or does all milk have carregan in it??

Organic Valley has a legal pure cream, if you can find it. For a while, I know

Albertson's (in the Pacific Northwest) store brand heavy cream was just cream,

no carrageenan or other illegals. Not sure this is still the case... that was

several years ago.

Hi,

I buy in the pink 1/2 gallon at Costco. Doesn't have anything else

added to it.

is this the same as " creme fraiche " ? they sell that at whole foods.

Plain, fresh, REAL cream has no carrageenan in it. Carrageenan is a

polysaccharide, made from seaweed, that is added as a thickener.
