Guest guest
Hi Doc, Pleased to hear that your wife is making good progress and is now at home. She'll need to take things easy for a while. I found i felt even more tired when i first got home. You're tempted to try and do little jobs around the house, because after a while you get fed up of taking thigs easy ! anyway, it's good to hear that she's progressing well. A good source of information about diabetes is the Diabetes UK website (not sure if you have a US equivalent). There is lots of info about diet / insulin etc, but, just to warn you that blood gluocse is measured in different units. I have a little box contining my insulin, needles, blood glucose testing equipment and my glucose tablets that i take everywhere with me. Hope the good progress continues. Please contact me if i can help at all. Best wishes. Sue (UK)
Guest guest
Doc, I am so glad to hear that your wife is home from her ordeal. I'm sure she'll finally be able to get some decent rest now that she's home. I know it's really hard to get real rest while in the hospital. Give her my best wishes that she continues to heal well and that the pain decreases as time goes by. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
