I've had a great 2 months. I feel *so* blessed to have had a complication-free

surgery and trouble-free recovery!! I feel normal in that I can eat whatever I

want,

even a few bites of sweets now and then. No food has given me trouble. I eat

meat

on a very regular basis. I find that I get very specific cravings for a food or

two,

and then it passes and a new one will take its place. I just had a thing for

bananas, but now my favorite food is snow pea pods!

As for my stats...I've lost 38 pounds since surgery (and 53 pounds from my

heaviest

weight). I've also lost LOTS of inches!! My first month, I had lost 11.5

inches, the

second month I've lost 17.5 inches for a total of 29 inches!! WooHOO! (I know

that

seems like a lot....but I measure in many different places!! LOL) I started out

in

size 26/28 and now am comfortably in 20's for jeans and 22 for tops. My hubby

and

friends notice most of the loss in my face and my chest. I can feel the

differences

in many different areas on my body and can now cross my legs and wear my wedding

rings! I have much more energy, my migraines and headaches are decreased (but

unfortunately not gone for good--yet), and I just feel better about myself. I

think I

smile alot more now!

I have no trouble with the supplements or medications, but I do need to work on

being

more diligent with my TUMS. My exercise is pretty regular, but I'd like to see

that

pick up some more. So those are my two goals for the next month.

On the insurance note...still waiting for the check to appear. They tell me

it's

coming, but still no show. :( Not giving up, and it looks as if I'm going to

have

to get squeaky again and bug them til it does show up in my mailbox.

I'm really behind on my mail, but I enjoy reading about everyone's successes,

and

love to see the enthusiasm of the post-ops as well as the pre-ops! To those

fighting

insurance or some other type of battle, *don't give up*...it is SO worth

it...YOU are

so worth it!!
