Guest guest
Hi group, Today is the first day that I woke in the morning and felt moderately well (The first time in almost 3 weeks). I have been taking Vicodin for pain for the last 3 weeks and been on a clear liquid diet. I choose to eat some solid food today, and of course the pain returned. I read the posts regarding chemicals that may cause pancreatitis and wonder if the chemicals I use at work could be part of the problem. I am a Pedorthist, Orthothist and we use some heavy-duty glues and plastics that we heat up to 400°F. Has any one seen any studies regarding harsh chemicals that could cause pancreatitis? It has been almost two weeks since they discovered a cyst on my pancreas and I'm still having a lot of pain. They told me it should go away in a short amount of time. Of course, I am sure most of you know, it hurts the most when I sit or lay down. When will this clear up? Any one else had cysts and what did they do for you?
