Hey Dana, I'm Diane. I to am just beginning the research. From what I have

found the posts on this group are great. Everyone has been responsive. Where

in VA? I'm in upper east TN. Right at the state line of VA.

Hi : Clinic is held in the Health Services Building around the corner from

the hospital. It's on Crutchfield Road which is the street that runs right next

to the hospital. The hospital grounds take in about a square block. If you are

standing in front of the hospital, looking at the main entrance, Crutchfield

Road is to the right of the hospital. Take that around and you'll see the

Health Services Bldg. on the next corner on the left. Lots of good parking, use

the front door and go to the reception desk.

Good luck on your surgery!

Hi everyone--I have just started my research into this surgery, and I am

very interested in hearing some of the long term results from this. I am

beginning to work on my packet, and would love to communicate with some

people. I live in Virginia----any comments?

Dana

Hi!!! Can anyone tell me exactly where clinic is held? Is it at Dr

Rutledge's office or at the hospital or somewhere else? Also, I posted

earlier about having to bring my 3 1/2 year old son with us. Is there any

sort of daycare, etc. available? My surgery is scheduled for this Wed. Nov.

15th. Thanks,

worst part of their surgical experience? I think I really need to know all the

facts...the side effects sound so scary. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Hi Cheryl,

You can make a clinic appt once you've sent in (electronically) your

patient information form. Then call Dr.R's office to make a clinic appt and

confirm they have your patient info.
