Guest guest
I now realize that even the slightest little thing I have to call him. I know how serious an infection can be but I was on antibiotics so I didn't think much about it. It's sort of like living in limbo. Susiecue, Darn you!! You have had enough and this has to stop. LOL I'm so sorry you have been so sick. Seems like sinus infections are making the rounds. This is a good reminder to us all. YES, ALL signs of ANY infection, even if it is just a cold, has to be taken care of. My last visit to the clinic, the dr told me not to feel bad for coming in with just a cold. With our immune systems, we can't afford to take any chances on getting ANYTHING! I wish he was my reg PCP. DARN!! Please, don't put off going to the dr thinking you will be better tomorrow. I know it isn't always easy to get in or that some drs just don't understand this, but we have to put ourselves first. Another thing. At ANY sign of a flare, please contact a dr. We have to kick out any flares before they get worse. Remember that damage is done with each flare, no matter how small. If we can up the pred at the beginning we will be on it a shorter period of time. Well as you can see, 2003 hasn't changed my nagging.. hummmmmm reminds me.. I must do a post on Medic Alert bracelets, bone density tests, and all the other stuff I nag so well at. I will give you all a few days rest and then start in. Have a great weekend.
