Why is she doing this? This has me scared. I am about to get a surgucal

date and am very concerned. Where did she get her info and why is she

blasting Dr. R?

because Dr. R did not hire her to work for him. This is a decision you have

to make for yourself. LT is not happy. MOST people are. Her experience is

ONE experience if you even believe it. Do your own research, talk to Dr. R.

talk to LOTS of patients, decide for yourself. It is the BEST decision I ever

made.

Can you believe the nerve of this woman...after I E-mailed her back and told

her in a very nice way not to e-mail me back ever again... or I would report

it..SHE DID!!! And e-mailed me privately ... who would I report this to since

she is a mindspring customer??...any suggestions?

: Don't let her scare tactics get the best of you. She is a

disgruntled patient of Dr. Rutledge who did not follow post op instructions

and is now unhappy. She can be blocked from e-mailing you. She changes her

e-mail address more often than she changes her underware. When I see what I

think is her I just delete it and go on and don't even read it.

Dear :

Read your post from the dreaded dragon, don't know her don,t want to

know her would probably blast her. I am 54 yrs old had my surgery May o4,

dicharged May 5th. Went shopping the day after got my nails done and back to

work the following Monday for a full 45 hour work week. Yes I was tired the

first 2 weeks, Yes I had some conplications, no I can't eat the foods I used

to eat without them upsetting my stomach. Ask me if I care, weighed in @

314 and now weigh 209. Would I do it again. You bet I would - feel great -

off all meds- and have so much energy I feel as if I'm 25 years old and look

it - no I did not wrinkle - I did my exercises face & body- really works -

only 54 lbs to go to reach goal. Go for it and enjoy the ride,

Hi Janice,

What fantastic weight loss. Isn't it amazing how many of us are

realizing our dreams and we are living much healthier lives thanks to our MGB.

Your story is another example of just how successful this surgery is. It has its

risks like any other surgery but the rewards are so sweet. My life is improving

everyday.

You pre-ops are not the only ones receiving nasty mail from

. I got one the other day and she called me a liar and told me to quit

posting my insanity to the pre-ops or she would make it be known what a liar I

am. She just doesn't get it. There are people on this list that have had

tremendous success with the MGB and they don't

care what she has to say. Her opinion is hers and my opinion is mine. I am a

believer in the MGB and Dr.R and he has saved my life. The quality of my life is

better than it has been in years. I'm losing weight, no complications and I have

no regrets.

I recommend that all pre-ops thoroughly research this and all surgeries

and draw your own conclusions. Surgery is not an easy fix or a game but it is an

answer.

I am a pre-op, hoping for April. My daughter is having tahe surgery on

Dec. 13.

This is her e-mail address.

We spent a lot of time in TX in the winter. In fact we are planning on

leaving this week-end. We'll be bback in time to take Amy to Durham.

We go through Dallas or Fort Worth going to the valley.

My e-mail is merriman_bc. I can't keep up with e-mails on 2 computers.

We'll be taking ours to TX so I'll be using our e-mail address then.

to meet you. Call me day or night at 817/ 577-0919. I live in Northeast

Tarrant County but I don't mind driving to Dallas. Have a safe trip. We

went to Billy Bob's tonight to hear my daughter sing and when we left there

were snow flurries so be careful, you NEVER know about this crazy Texas

weather.
