Hi -

We had great success w/Phenol Assist from Kirkmans. It helped Luke bowel

movements quite a bit, and nuked some yeast in the process.

Salicylates and natural antifungals

Hello Again!

My son is sensitive to foods high in salicylates or phenols and I noticed that

grapeseed extract has polyphenols, so does oregano..... .actually all kinds of

stuff. Does anyone have any experience with giving their child (who is sensitive

to honey, apples, zucchini, stuff with high salicylates) the natural antifungals

and if they react to it the same as if I were to give him a spoonful of honey?

He becomes very nasty and hyper! The salicylate sensitivity is new to me but he

definitely has something there. He seems to be sensitive to all salicylates not

just some phenols. Anyway, I feel SCD and the advice given here is more

important that his sensitivity to salicylates because I know that SCD will take

care of that too. Just hoping for some advice or knowledge that can help. I have

NO FENOL and tried it for a few days but have now taken it away because I wasn't

sure what was going on with his bowels.

Thanks for any thoughts or advice
