Kim, thank you, thank you, thank you! n Rojas, wcf who follows your

advice as does my youngest adult who has cf also--we're still kicking and

neither of us is losing weight at this time!

All these things " might " add calories, but at what cost?

Many of these foods are notarious for increasing total body inflammation,

which is the root of the problem in CF. You're better off

eating a normal balanced diet, with attention paid to high quality omega-rich

proteins and high quality carbs such as fruits and

vegetables loaded with helpful vitamins, minerals, and those crucial

antioxidants. It's best to avoid refined carbs that contain a lot of

sugar (why feed bacteria) and poor quality fats and oils that increase

inflammation.
