Guest guest
Koreana/Pusan Market on Telegraph at 23rd (I think) in Oakland - really big Korean market with lots of lovely food, but take your glasses and read the tiny print on the English labels. " Starch " is another word for flour - as in Acorn Starch is what we might call acorn flour. They also have lots of lovely frozen fish and good prices! Can anyone suggest a market in this area that would be convenient for me. Thanks Sabreena

Guest guest
There used to be a 99 Ranch Market across the freeway from Costco. It's a huge Safeway-size market with tons of choices. I'm not positive it's still there though, I haven't been in quite a while. --Trudy San , CA "People who believe in absurdities will eventually commit atrocities." ~Voltaire -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Connie Hampton" <connie@...> Koreana/Pusan Market on Telegraph at 23rd (I think) in Oakland - really bigKorean market with lots of lovely food, but take your glasses and read thetiny print on the English labels.
