Guest guest
Suzy, It would be best to talk to your physician about this. I started menopause at 39...lol.....and was all finished by the time I was 44. Believe me, I don't miss certain aspects of that at all!! All during that time I was on Prempro. I didn't start using the Estroven until after that, about 9 years ago. My doctor has tested my hormone levels to determine whether the Estroven was sufficient enough for me. It's not that expensive, and is an over the counter treatment, so I think he thought a prescription estrogen may be better. My levels were fine, neatly within the range that indicated proper hormone activity. Do you know why was your friend giving away her Estroven? My advice is to have your levels tested by your physician, and have him/her determine what's best for you. With love, hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.Griffeth South Carolina State Rep. She said she had two boxes left and was giving it away. Now, I'm peri-menop. (just turned 50) and not experiencing symptoms as yet. I'm wondering if I should take that or not. I guess I should ask my gyn about it. Your thoughts?
