Guest guest
Hi to everyone! My name is Bren and I had the MBG 8/3/00 along with some others from Michigan ( & ). This is the first time I've posted. I read the post a lot though. I have lost very well these past 2 1/2 months (64 lbs to be exact). Next Friday, 11/3/00 will be 3 months. I'm very excited about it all. I do have some concerns though. I get up in the morning feeling very queezy (like morning sickness during pregnancy). I do not throw up, but it's getting very tiring. I do also get this feeling at other times during the day. Usually, I eat a little and I feel a little better. Do you think it can be hunger pains? I've NEVER DUMPED!!!!! I feel very lucky in that respect. Also, I've noticed sometimes I get filled up faster than others; that is, I can eat more sometimes than other times. At these times, I feel like I'm overeating even though my stomach hasn't said to me, " Okay enough now " !!!!! It scares me; I don't want to overeat. Is that possible? Can we stretch this little stomach out? I can eat about anything. Soups and veges are the best, but I can eat meats (meats seem to weigh a little heavier in my stomach and I can't eat much of the meat). Actually meat (which use to be a favorite of mine to eat) doesn't taste as good to me as it use to. I cut it up small and after I get done with all the chewing I feel the total enjoyment of the taste is gone. Actually sometimes I feel that 90% of the joy of eating is gone........Does anyone else feel that way? Do you really enjoy eating anymore? Will this change with time? Don't get me wrong; I'm not sorry I had the surgery. If I had it to do over again and know what I know now I still would have it. I feel better, am off most medications, energy level is increased, more comfortable, cholesterol is normal (first time in 10 years), glucose is normal. The positive things are certainly wonderful!!!!!!! Anyway, I've talked enough. I'm so good at that!!!! hahaha Thanks for listening, Bren
