Guest guest
we've been on SCD 2 months with good solid progress. the past week or so though has been really rough for my daughter. she has had several incidents of rage, which is not typical at all, along with huge tantrums and eczema flare ups. every other time i have introduced a new food, it has taken no more than 2-3 days for things to settle down again, if the food was not tolerated. this time though, it's taking much longer and i'm wondering what is going on. the things that have changed within this time period are 1) we had more goat dairy than we normally have - her 2T goat yogurt + a dish baked with goat cheddar + ice cream the next day, made with goat yogurt, and 2) we reintroduced coconut oil in the form of mayo. questions: could this be the 3-month die off, coming early at 2 months? could coconut oil cause such a big die-off? we ate the mayo 3 days in a row. does dairy intolerance build up - could it be that the dairy (even goat) has reached some sort of threshold in her body and now she can't tolerate it at all? i plan to start over again as soon as i can, with the foods i am certain she can tolerate. but if anyone can give some insight that would also be most helpful. silvia SCD 2months, for eczema and food intolerances
