Guest guest
Mimi: We haven't chelated in 3 months, per his DAN doc and (French urine test) he doesn't need it anymore. We did try the goat yogurt for 6months but it made him worse with bad behaviors and GI doc said he tested high for D-Lacate and could not tolerate it. I like the SCDiet I think it's very healthy diet and my son does get fruits(bananas, apples, pears and mangos) and veggies(broccoli, avacado, squash, sometimes spinach and peas), I bake with pecan flour for his bake goods, along with meat, chicken and turkey so I do try to balance his diet. I appreciate the suggestions. I guess I have to wait until all the test results come back. Thanks Jeanne pecan post wrote: Jeanne, You mention that you are doing chelation . I have heard of many kids who developed severe gut problems while doing chelation. Chelation can aggravate yeast issues. Please take a chelation break and wait until your child's gut is in better shape before resuming it BTW, have you tried the SCD goat yogurt? It is a great yeast treatment! I also back the wonderful suggestions that Patti gave you. Mimi > Hi: > > Our 7yo son had a 2nd endoscopy done and the GI doctor still found > inflammation in the stomach lining and the Duodenum. Guest guest
Jeanne, The damage from chelation may last for many months. Have you checked the section concerning yeast on our website? http://www.pecanbread.com/new/yeast.html How about removing the nut products? Some children improve dramatically when nuts are removed. Make sure that your fruits and veggies are cooked. Mimi
