Guest guest
Hey . Great to see your post. I've been hoping to hear from you. You're doing great. I think the return to eating is very individualized. What one can handle another can't and vice versa. Keep up the good work. I cross over in 9 more days!!!!!!! Guest guest
You sound like you're doing great, !! Thanks for posting. I'll be there on the other side with you, very soon.. oooooh weeee, can not come fast enough!! Trudy 11/03/00 2 weeks postop Hi everyone I have no idea what's going on with the list that we still can't see all the messages except by email so I'm hoping this reaches everyone. I will be two weeks postop tomorrow and am doing really well. I'm still a bit black and blue on my stomach but almost all the soreness has gone. The good news is....I've lost 17 lbs since the surgery!! I'm still mostly on juice, yogurt, saltines and soup. I've been trying to add some of the second stage foods in the last two days with mixed success. Applesauce is fine. Mashed potatoes fine. Noodles no way. Cottage cheese no way. Some of the things that others had no problem with, I can't eat without getting cramps. I think this is just an individual thing so I'm taking it slowly. Its still hard to realize I'm " on the other side " . I don't think I'll feel really confident until I've lost alot more weight and am eating " real " food again. But so far so good!! in Atlanta MGB 10/12/00 275/258/
