Guest guest
I am trying to introduce again CLO and Fish Oil and it seems to be causing diarrhea. Has anyone else experienced this? Guest guest
Dana, My first reaction is to advise you take both products out.... then reintroduce them one at a time. That's the only way you can narrow it down to which one is the trigger. At that point, you might just have to try a different brand, or a plain one instead of flavored.... if you were using a flavored oil. Just about anything can trigger diarrhea for any one individual.... even if it's a perfectly great and legal product. That doesn't mean it's bad... or that you have to avoid it forever. It just might be too soon after re-starting the diet. Patti Can CLO or Fish Oil cause diarrhea I am trying to introduce again CLO and Fish Oil and it seems to be causing diarrhea. Has anyone else experienced this? We use Carlson's. Guest guest
Hi Dana, > I am trying to introduce again CLO and Fish Oil and it seems to be causing diarrhea. Has anyone else experienced this? We use Carlson's. I just started taking the Carlson's CLO and have had some peculiar reactions - which may or may not be related. I am going to stop them and go back to my old brand and see if there is a difference. The manager of the health food store said that Carlson's changed their formulation. That may have something to do with it. Check your bottle and see if it is the CLO with a Vit A and D level given along with a listing for Omega 3's and Omega 6's. Guest guest
Hi there! Many have to introduce supplements slowly, or else they can cause regressions like diarrhea. We had this problem with EVERY single supplement that we added to our daughters diet. Had to build up slow with every single one of them. I do not know why this happens. But I know that we are not alone. Other kids/people do this. Maybe cut down to 1/8 or 1/4 the dose, and slowly build up to full dose. In case you think that it is the brand you may want to try Green Pastures instead. It seems to be the one that many people are wanting us to use these days. www.greenpasture.org<about:blank> <http://www.greenpasture.org/<about:blank>> Hope this helps you, Antoinette and Family of five (SCD 2/06)
