It is not allowed on he SCD. Plain Welch's Grape Juice from concentrate in the

plastic jug or

glass bottle is the correct choice.

Hi Sharon -

The guru says that this type is illegal. We haven't seen too much problems with

it, but I can tell you that other white grapes (such as Publix), that have the

'natural ingredients' listed definitely caused issues w/our son.

My hubby just received a bottle of Welch's Calcium 100% Grape Juice. I

Grape juice from concentrate (filtered water, grape juice concentrate) ,

Grape Juice,

Calcium Gluconate, [i wasn't sure about this one]

Calcium Lactate, [Or this one]

Because Elaine was able to ascertain no added illegal sugar resulted from the

concentrate.

A while ago, I called both Welch's and Tropicana about their calcium fortified

juices. BOTH companies use a calcium supplement that has starch in them. This

makes their calcium fortified juices illegal.
