Doc with an Update,,,,,,,,,,,

Things are still going very well,,,, better than we expected to

this pint. This Friday, the 25th will be a month since my wifes TP

and Splenectomy.

I don't want to jinx anything, but last Saturday she says, " I

feel good enough to take a ride to Las Vegas !!!. So Sunday Morning

we drove up, ( 5 hour drive ) and just got home an hour ago.

She had some discomfort when we hit a " bump " in the road and she

learned quickly that she's still healing.

Overall it was great to get away for 3 days. She stayed on her

diabetic diet as best she could,,,,,,,, you know how tempting those

luscious Vegas meals can be !!! She also got some exercise, walking

from one hotel property to the next as well as walking from one slot

machine to another, hehehehe, !!

We had a great time,,,,, at one time during the trip, she turns

to me and says, " You know, I never thought I would see this

beautiful desert, mountains or ever drive over Hoover Dam again " .

Kind of reminds us of the simple pleasures of life.
