Guest guest
Don't get too stressed. The fact that you saw her happy with it on at one point is a really good sign. I'll bet she'll be doing great in a few days. I'd encourage the sitter to stay positive about the helmet around your daughter even if she thinks your daughter doesn't like it. Babies follow adults' cues, so if the sitter seems unhappy about the helmet, your daughter may notice and get upset. Good luck! > > My daughter received her helmet yesterday. She was suppossed to wear it one hour 3 times a day for the first day. We were not able to do this yesterday because she had a late appointment and it was to close to bedtime after she wore it for the first hour. So today she is wearing 3 times for one hour. I put it on her this morning before she went to the sitter and by the time my husband got her to the sitter it had been an hour and he took it off. She did not seem to mind it all and was still happy with it on. I just called my sitter to check on her and she said she was super crabby today. She had her wear it another hour before her afternoon nap and the whole time she had it on Reese was looking at her like get this off of me. How long do is take for them to get used to the helmet? I know it is only the first day but I am already scared that this is going to be the longest 3-6 months of my life!!! >
Guest guest
I am in the same boat with you. This is gonna be a very long 3-6 months. My son is 7 months and he has been in the helmet for a week. For us it was OK the first couple of days, but this is our 4th night sleeping in it, and it is no fun. He only sleeps 30 min a time and wakes up screaming with the helmet has either moved over his eyes or sideways and I was told he will grow into it He can't get comfy, and sweats like crazy. And he is very grumpy the next day because he is so tired from the night before. He used to slepp 8-10 hours no problem. I wish you luck I hope it gets better for us all. 7 month son 1 week helmet > > My daughter received her helmet yesterday. She was suppossed to wear it one hour 3 times a day for the first day.
