All he would say is that the CFF feels that due to the size of a child younger

than two, that the vest would not be as effective as manual CPT.

The respiratory therapist that we see in clinic is so dead set against a child

getting the vest before age 2. She really doesn't like kids getting them at 2,

she feels that they are still too small. Of course she doesn't have kids, and

she doesn't have to do the CPT, she is the head of Respiratory in the clinic.

Go figure!

the vest co guy came and taught us how to use it and he brought a big teddy bear

did it on it first showing him all the speeds, when he put it on to try the

" vest guy " showed him how it makes his voice shake and how fun it is to talk and

sing while doing it. now that he is almost 3 we just put in a video,or nick jr ,

right now his favorites are oswald and max & ruby so that is vest time same time

everyday both are on nick jr. we do 20 mins once in afternoon, once in evening

after his nebs. he still throws fits every once in awhile but for the most part

knows we have to do it. we just try to make it fun only time he sees those

shows, he can have ice cream or popsycle if he does it etc. also got him those

little tyke instruments to play while doing it . marackas ,drum etc
