Guest guest
Dani, Do you use this ped? have you taked measurments for the plastic bubble he would love to have your son in? Sami has not done harm to your son how would these young kids? As long as you have an agreement with the mom that when they are sick they don't come I would say there is no issue. Anyone else? Guest guest
I agree with Meg. We can't let our children live in a bubble. my daughter has cultured MRSA twice. Our doctor told us that she should not be around sick people, especially those who were older. I say to go with your comfort level. If you are ok with everyone being in the same space, and I am sure you take precautions like hand washing etc...then I don't think you should be too concerned. I also ran a daycare from my home, but it was before my daughter was diagnosed; however I always made sure that no kids came if they had a temp over 100 and they didn't have gunk running from their noses. Guest guest
Did the doctor make it clear whether avoiding older people was for your daughter's sake or for fear of passing MRSA on to the older people? Guest guest
KAREN, 's doctors concern was that she would pass the MRSA on to the elderly patients. My Grandmother was in the hospital and I asked him if it was ok if we went to see her. he said definitly not. She could pass the MRSA on to someone and it could be devastating to them. A chance I was not willing to take! e
