Guest guest
Ya know, Zoey. One of these days, it might be fun to connect the dots with MGB'ers. Soon, we'll be able to cross the country, staying every night with a different post-op. Whaddya think bout that? I'd open my home to any MGB'er, no questions asked. Sort of, show me your belly, 5 holes? You're in! Free night in Philly! Whaddya think, Zoey? Trude and I are both coming to LA. We'll pick Rikki up in Miami. And whaddya mean you have no support group? Duh? What are we, chopped liver? :-) PJ

Guest guest
le, What kind of exercise are you doing? I'm signed up for water aerobics next week three times a week.. I'm also going to drag my tread mill out of the basement... (ugh...) I'm planning on walking clean to Philly on that thing, to visit my friend, Jude!! When I'm down some more, I'll drag the health rider (I've been trying for years to find a way, as you can see) out of the basement, and pull my way to Philly, too. Last time I rode that and the only time I did, my blood pressure shot thru the roof... a little to much LOL don't you think? Trudy About Plateaus... Hey yall, In a couple of weeks I will be 6 months post op. I only weigh once a month at most. This way you don't become a slave to the scale, and you won't freak out by a plateau, because you probably will never know you had one. I have not seen a plateau yet. So, if the scale not moving " jerks your chain " , try to space out your weigh-ins. I do exercise fanatically, and that may be a contributing factor as well. These tips are free...no charge. le -70 @ five months out
Guest guest
Zoey, It's should be called the Century Club, when you hit 100 pounds, bicentennial if you hit 200, and if it doesn't exist, I nominate you Prez! Guest guest
Christy, Someone with a lot of computer sav vy, which is most assuredly not I, will figure out a way to put a map of the USA on this screen, and we'll start putting marks for each MGb's current residence. Soon, that thing will be covered. Got somone in Tucson lining up, I like that town. Love California. We need a Hawaiian bad!!! I really love that state. Never been to Seattle, but I hear it's beautiful. See, here's how it goes. Trude flies here to Philly and we rent a big spiffy van. Then we start driving south on 95, hitting Delaware, MD, VA, the Carolinas, and swinging into Fla to pick up Ruqayya. (She may have to meet us in Atlanta or something cause Miami is really far!) Then we go get Zoey in Louisiana, and we're on the road for a month, one-night-standing-it all over the country with MGB'ers. What a hoot! And all of us just munching on 6 little meals, laughing, singing, rejoicing over how sweet the thin life is! We could do it starting in September, so we hit the Durham picnic, too. Watch out guys, my imagination is running away with me! PJ

Guest guest
OK., Betty. You've gotta deal! Always have wanted to meet you anyway! Course, our van has just become a bus, but what the heck! Or.... you know what else? We could all start with vans coming from every direction and meet at the center of the country, I don't know, like Nebraska. Or Colorado. Yeah, Colorado. Rocky Mountain High! A righteous 5-holer hoe down!!! Somebody needs to shut my imagination right down! PJ
