Guest guest
, Almost definitely more die off. Many parents report stringy stuff in the stool, and it appears to be the yeast colonies being flushed out. I think it is a good sign although I don't know how good it is to have the 7-8 stools per day. You might want to give him more binding foods for a day or two to try to find a happy median. Meleah Constipation Gone Well, I'm not sure which thing did it, but constipation is not an issue at our house anymore. He has been going 7 or 8 times a day the past few days with mucous and stringy junk which I cannot think of any foods that would be stringy like that. Now the poor kid has diaper rash - not yeast looking - just sore from so much loosey goosey poop. Maybe I just needed to give the Mag Citrate longer to work or maybe the additional fiber into his diet got him going. Hard to say. If we could just find a happy medium. It's obviously causing pain. Before we started this a month ago, he laid around all the time. Now he is much more energetic, but the past few days I've noticed that if I see him lying around he has been poopy every single time. I really hope we are on the right path, I just want him to feel better!!!! SCD 1 month 2yo ASD (and 38 weeks pregnant)
Guest guest
those strings may be the filamentous form of yeast which is not good rather than die off, the magnesium citrate is likely to be feeding yeast vitamin e in amounts for say 30 to 60 iu for a child can be usefully laxative > > Well, I'm not sure which thing did it, but constipation is not an > issue at our house anymore. Guest guest
If you have loose BMs, 7 or 8 times a day, then cut back on the mag citrate. You don't want him to be THAT loose! Each child is different, so we just have to adjust the dose of something like that by trial and error. The stringy stuff could be yeast dying off.
